About Notnet

Notnet was started in the spring of 2000 by 2 friends, Mike Willams and Ben Charlton, who wanted hosting for a number of domains, with shell and scripting access. After much research they realised that almost nobody offered this for a reasonable price, so decided to set up a server, and offer their service to others who needed it.

Now, Notnet has grown significantly since the beginning, utilising multiple servers in different datacenters all over the world, and currently hosting a large number of both business and personal websites.

With extensive plans for further expansion, along with the completely new hardware setup that recently went live, we're better placed than ever to offer reliable, fast, scalable hosting for a very reasonable price.

Notnet believes in freedom of expression and speech.

Who are we?

Ben Charlton
Director of Technical Services
One of the original founders of Notnet, Ben takes an active interest in anything to do with computers, especially networking, perl, and photography.
You can contact Ben directly at ben@notnet.co.uk.

Theo Zourzouvillys
Director of Research and Development
Theo being a creature of the night, can usually be found at 4am over a large mug of coffee, optimising our MySQL server. Theo is responsible for the creation of most of the web interfaces for configuring your account and looking after the Notnet servers and network. Theo also has a personal website. You can contact him directly at theo@notnet.co.uk.

Dan Brusca
Director of Business Development
Dan has a taste for arty movies, obscure music and anything Japanese. Coming from an accountancy (aka beancounting) background, he's our very own Steve Ballmer, which basically means he tries to make sure there's enough beans to go round and moans at the other directors a lot. Dan can be contacted at dan@notnet.co.uk.
